Kelli Jones is more popularly known as Kelli J. She is a go-getter, a boss, and an inspiration. Kelli J started her career as a professional hairstylist over 15 years ago in Atlanta then shortly expanded into professional make-up, consumer products, TV & Film, and now an educator. Kelli J is the Founder and CEO of Kelli J Beauty, a lifestyle brand specializing in luxury beauty products at an affordable price, educational services with a focus on freelance income, and beauty coaching.
Every week is different for Kelli J. Some days, she is in the salon whipping up chic short and long hairstyles, and some days she is on set for a film, TV, or theatre gig as a union stylist. Kelli J provides top-quality services and products through her salon, Kelli J. Styles in Atlanta, GA.
You may catch her behind the scenes at New York Fashion Week or live at one of her most sought-after classes under the KJB Freelance Academy, where she trains up and coming hair and make-up artists then puts them through an intensive program on how to secure multiple streams of income as a hair or make-up freelancer carrying a union/guild card.
Fueled by the determination to make a difference in the beauty industry, Kelli J is all about making women look their best whether it is for a TV segment, a runway show, or just a fun date night. Kelli J is now one of the most in-demand talents when it comes to beauty and styling. She was also the Key Hair/Wig Tech for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, and Creative Director and Lead Make-up Artist for New York Fashion Week FW2018 and Lead Hair Stylist FW2019.
With fifteen years of experience under her belt, Kelli J uses her extensive training to inspire others to grow, scale, and truly level up.
